Valeri is a young college dropout from Connecticut with a strong knack for alcohol, prescription drugs, and random, frequent, unprotected sex. Though you wouldn't think so from observing Valeri on the outside, where she presents this "Sun-shiny" ( as her oblivious father would call it) innocent facade. She comes from a very conservative household, with a widely popular city counsel man father, making a bid for mayor and a reserved, typical, house wife mother who would only speak when she was asked and if she did, nothing ever out of the ordinary; which was something Valeri had spotted from a young age, annoyed her existence, and drove her to do what she's doing now.
Arriving at NYU, she quickly fell into the surrounding high paced party life surrounding her in the city. Immersing herself in the lights and glamour of the upper class environment down to the ratchediness and grime of the hysterical parties in underground ghetto night clubs, owned by wealthy gangsters and major drug dealers. Shes now enjoying , much to her detriment, the pure deaf'ness of overblown sound systems and overdose levels of dangerous drugs.
Benefiting from the never ending floor of her now Mayor Fathers bank account much to his bewildered dismay as her soft hearted Mother is secretly granting her access to, she has an unlimited access to dangerous drugs. Always just wanting to escape from the restrictive order she was born into, Valeri now finds herself free in a self chained prison of fast living and bad influences.
